Pastor Tim and Pastor Kelli Howard have faithfully served as the Pastors of New Joy Divine Full Gospel Church in Chicago for over 12 years, dedicating their lives to God, their family, and the community they love. Together, they lead with passion, authenticity, and a heart for people—teaching others how to live a Christ-centered life with purpose and power.
Married for more than 35 years, they are the proud parents of five children and believe that strong families are the foundation of a strong church. Their lives reflect a deep commitment to faith, love, and unity, both in ministry and at home.
Their ministry is marked by warmth, humor, transparency, and strength. Whether preaching, serving, or simply engaging with others, they create a space where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to grow.
Pastors Tim and Kelli believe that believers are called to be Kingdom Minded—to be the light of the world, not just the light of the church (Matthew 5:13–14)—and to seek first the kingdom of God above all else (Matthew 6:33). Their mission is to equip people to use their time, talents, and treasures to build God’s Kingdom, making an impact that reaches far beyond the church walls.
This is our wonderful Youth Ministry where young people, ages 17 and under, are empowered to live boldly for Christ in today’s world. Through real conversations, biblical truth, creative expression and Christ-centered mentorship, L.I.T helps youth discover their identity, deepen their faith and become lights and leaders in their generation.
This is a powerful sisterhood, ages 18 and up, where women of all ages come together to grow in faith, purpose and unity. Through prayer, biblical study, open dialogue, uplifting fellowship and lots of fun and laughter – we empower one another to walk boldly in our God-given identity. It is a safe place to heal, grow and rise – spiritually, emotionally and relationally.
LIVING IN TRUTH (L.I.T)
